Born in Durban in '97, I grew up playing around with some pretty basic digital cameras (about 3 megapixels). This sparked what would become a love for photography. In high school I received my own camera, a hand-me-down Nikon DLSR from my Uncle (a Unit Stills Photographer). I got involved with photography for the school which had me shooting various school events, I now run the new Photography Club at the same school  5 years later. Through trying out many kinds of shoots after school - I settled on specializing in shooting private and corporate events, clubs and various festivals, as well as portraits.

 

But as the global pandemic hit and strict lock-down enforced - events, clubs and festivals halted. While the future seems uncertain, I know photography is still in mine. I am now focusing on new fields in photography that I can steer my career towards. I look forward to seeing where photography takes me next.
